Ghanaian midfielder Richard Boateng has disclosed that joining Alcorcón from Real Oviedo was an interesting opportunity for him.
Boateng joined Alcorcón from Oviedo on loan till the end of the season after struggling to get back into ths starting line up since returning from an injury set back.
"When I had the option of coming here to play, I found it very interesting, I see the team very well, I am very interested in being part of this family in order to achieve personal and collective goals with them," he told the club.
"I was watching the last game they played and the team was quite good, it's not easy in Segunda to go back a game, the team did very well and fought until the last minute to get the victory," he said. The team won 2-1 against Cordoba.
He also took the opportunity to define himself: "I am a midfielder, some coaches put me in the center but where I fit the most is in the midfield, I am a back and forth player with a lot of arrival and I feel very good. to the team and so that the fans feel happy every Sunday in every game. "
