President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi, has said

that the ongoing Ghana Premier League has been successful and hopes to

see it ending in a great fashion.

The 2015/2016 top-flight league is regarded as one of the best and

keenly contested league in the country by many football enthusiasts.

Whiles there are teams who have shown great desire in annexing the

maiden trophy this season, others are also fighting for survival in

order to maintain their top-flight status next season.

Nevertheless, the GFA commander-in-chief has expressed delight about

the competitiveness of the ongoing league and says all the

participating teams deserve plaudit for their impressive showings.

"Everything regarding the ongoing league campaign is moving on

smoothly and successfully. All the teams are faring very well as the

league has been competitive," he told Kumasi-based radio station Ahoto FM.

"We're all hoping to see the end of the season in a successful manner

as we've some few matches to play before we end the league season," he

added.
