Accra Hearts of Oak attacking midfielder Thomas Abbey is set to extend his stay at the club amid interest from numerous clubs who are interested in acquiring his services, Ghanacrusader.com gathers.
The 24-year-old will be out of contract at the end of the season and Hearts are looking to extend his stay at the club having joined them Wendy Professionals back in 2011.
Information gathered by ghanacrusader.com indicates that, Hearts will table a one-year extension offer to help them make some cash ahead of his imminent move away from the Ghana Premier League next season.
South African side, Mamelodi Sundowns are among seven clubs interested in securing the signature of the versatile midfielder.
Abbey has scored 12 goals in 24 appearances for the Phobians and has been one of the break out stars in this season’s league.
