Thomas Partey makes cameo appearance in Atletico Madrid win

Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey came off the bench in Atletico Madrid’s 1-0 away victory against Malaga in La Liga on Saturday.

Partey came on in the 70th minute as re enforcement in the middle of the pitch for Gabi as Diego Simeone protected a fragile lead.

French striker Antoine Griezmann’s 1st minute strike was enough to secure all three points and keep the pressure on runaway league leaders FC Barcelona.

The Madrid based club are second on the league standings after 23 games with 52 points.
