Thomas Partey nominated for Arsenal Player of the Month award

Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey has been nominated by Arsenal for the Player of the Month award for October 2024.

The Black Stars midfielder will be competing with four key players, including German attacker Kai Havertz, English forward Bukayo Saka, and Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli, for the accolade.

In October 2024, Partey had a huge influence in the midfield and featured in all six matches during the month as the team competes for the league title.

He featured in key matches the team played in the UEFA Champions League, English Premier League, and other competitions.

With Arsenal facing injury struggles, Partey has been excellent filling in at right-back.

Against Liverpool, he became the first Gunner to record over 3 fouls won, 5 tackles, 10 duels won, and 75 touches in a Premier League match for nearly five years.

The Black Stars midfielder has been praised by Arsenal fans and football pundits for his versatility and ability to adapt to different positions.
