Three clubs chase Fiorentina’s Nortey Ashong

Young Ghanaian left-back Nii Nortey Ashong, who is owned by Fiorentina and currently plays for Spezia, could be heading towards another Serie B club on loan in January.

Goal Ghana understands that La Viola are not happy with the lack of playing time for the defender and want to ship him to another side next month.

So far Cesena, Carpi and Ternanan are the clubs expressing interest in signing the talented lateral defender and talks are scheduled to start soon.

Fiorentina head coach Vicenzo Montella has already penciled Ashong who is equally efficient at centre back as the future of the club.
