Footy-ghana.com investigations reveal that ticket prices for the 2014 World Cup qualifying first leg match between Ghana and Egypt in Kumasi next month have been doubled.
According to our sources, tickets for the Popular stand at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium will cost GH¢8 each, whilst centre line tickets will go for GH¢20 each.
Footy-ghana.com sources reveal that tickets for the VIP wings will go for GH¢30 each whilst VIP tickets will sell for GH¢50 each.
Footy-ghana.com investigations reveal that the ticket prices may have been increased because of the incidence of black marketeering of tickets before the Ghana v Zambia game in Kumasi earlier this month.
Tickets for that game were bought by certain individuals and sold for cut throat prices but the stadium was still packed for the match which Ghana won 2-1.
Footy-ghana.com has also learnt that the tickets for the Ghana v Egypt match will go on sale on October 8, a week before the clash, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, various media houses in Kumasi and other designated vantage points in the Ashanti Regional capital.
