A member of Accra Hearts Of Oak’s Board of Directors, Mr. Frank Nelson has stated that it is too early for people to say the Phobians will win the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League.
The Accra based club are currently top of the Ghanaian top flight league table on 21 points after 11 games.
But despite the Phobians impressive start to the Campaign, Mr. Nelson, who is also a member of the club’s strategic committee says there is still a long way to go.
Speaking in an interview with Nhyira FM in Kumasi he said, “Even though Hearts of Oak is on top of the league table but we have played only 11 matches out of 30 matches so we have a long way to go”.
Mr. Nelson also expressed dismay at the recent ban handed the Phobians by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association, claiming that it will affect the club financially.
He further appealed to the Ghana Football Association to consider the club’s appeal and reduce the ban.
