Kumasi Basketball League
The top two teams in the 2018-2019 Kumasi Basketball League will be involved in games today at the Kumasi Anglican Senior High School.
Ashanti Royals and Ayeduase Snipers rank first and second in the six team league and have confirmed their places in the playoffs in March.
Royals play Asafo Klicks in the first game before Snipers take on Patasi Invaders in the follow up game at 9:30 AM at the same venue.
Invaders rank fifth and suffered a 64-80 loss to Royals in the previous round while Klicks sit a spot above in the standings in fourth place.
Klicks have 11 points-one ahead of Invaders- but lost 61-84 to Snipers in its last league appearance on January 19. The team is all but assured a place in the playoffs.
The regular season is winding down to a close as three more rounds remain on the schedule prior to the playoff games. Only the top four teams progress and the top seed will face off against the fourth seed.
The second seed and third seed will clash in the other semifinal to determine the finalist.
