Update of the best players of the Coca Cola Top Four soccer competition after the fifth matches on Thursday.

1. Yussuf Chibsah of Kumasi Asante Kotoko became the first player to win the best player award in the opening match of this year's competition at the Kumasi Sports Stadium on Wednesday, January 21, 2004. Kotoko played host to Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals.

2. Prince Antwi of King Faisal won it in their match against Accra Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday, January 22, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

3. Dan Quaye (Hearts) won the best player award in their match against Liberty Professionals while Habib Mohammed of King Faisal won it against Kotoko, all on Sunday, January 25.

4. Louise Agyemang of Hearts and Eric Gawu of Faisal were the best players for their respective clubs in the third week matches. Hearts hosted rivals Kotoko while Faisal welcomed Liberty on Sunday, February 1, 2004.

5. Asamoah Gyan of Liberty was adjudged the best player in their match against Kotoko while Hamza Mohammed of King Faisal won it in the Faisal-Hearts encounter on Sunday, February 8.

6. Stephen Oduro became Kotoko's second player to be adjudged the best player of the Top Four. He won it on Thursday, Feb. 12 in their match against King Faisal at the Kumasi Sports Stadium. Mike Helegbe of Liberty won it against Hearts on the same day.

7. Abubakar Yahuza of King Faisal won the best player award in the final match against Liberty Professionals while Charles Taylor of Kotoko won it against Hearts on Sunday, February 15.

All players were presented with CD players plus products from the main sponsors, Coca Cola.
