Torino join race for Isaac Cofie

Torino are ready to reinforce their midfield for next season and are planning to make a summer swoop for Ghanaian enforcer Isaac Cofie, Goal Ghana can exclusively reveal.

The 21-year-old, who is also a transfer target of Bundesliga side Frankfurt and his former club Chievo Verona, was in fine form for Genoa helping them to avoid the drop zone by finishing 17th.

Goal understands that Torino are preparing a three million Euros bid for the Ghanaian’s signature. The signing of Cofie could expedite the release of Ahmed Barusso, who was signed last summer but failed to make a single appearance for the Turin side.
