Torriq Jebrin happy with Hearts' management

Ghana midfielder Torriq Jebrin has lauded the management of Accra Hearts of Oak for searching for a coach club quickly with the 2015/16 league season just around the corner, insisting the nationality of the coach must not be an issue.

According to the former Hearts midfielder who now plies his trade with Ismaily if Egypt, the swiftness of finding a new coach for the club indicates that the leadership of the club have something good for the fans and they must exercise some patient.

Torriq, 25, added that they way the fans and the management conduct themselves will demonstrate to the new coach the pedigree of Hearts and how he should carry the team to the Promised Land.

The former Ghana U23 star said “I am very happy that the club has been able get a new coach. The leadership have done well and I think we must comment them. We now have to focus on something different.”

“As for the coach we must not look at where he is coming from. Where he is coming from does not matter at all. Football has developed now beyond understanding and the coach must only be judged by what he is here to do. Looking at his qualifications and certificates, I think he will help the club,” he added.

The arrival of Hearts new Japanese coach was announced last week and he is expected to be handed a three years deal to straighten up the curves in the rainbow family to see their major trophy drought ending since 2009.
