Black Stars head coach Charles Akonnor is set to receive $25,000 as monthly salary and is expected to sign a two-year contract with the Ghana Football Association, Footballghana.com. can confirm.
The 46-year-old was appointed as coach of the senior national team in January, replacing his former boss Kwesi Appiah following the dissolution of the technical teams of the national teams.
The GFA is expected to hand official contract to the former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko coach in the coming days.

He made 41 appearances and scored 12 goals for Ghana before starting his coaching career at Sekondi Eleven Wise.
