Legon Cities FC goalkeeper Fatau Dauda says it’s difficult to train alone as a goalkeeper during these difficult times of staying at home.
The Ghana Football season has been suspended by the government due to the Coronavirus outbreak in the country.
Ghana has recorded 68 cases with two people confirmed dead.
Fatau Dauda in an interview said being at home during this period will be difficult for goalkeepers to maintain their form because they require a special form of training to maintain their level.
“It’s difficult to train at home at this point”, he told Happy FM.
“As a goalkeeper you will need endurance and you will have to train so you can maintain your composure and reflexes”.
“Goalkeeping is different from the outfield players so as a goalkeeper you need to adopt different methods to train whilst at home”.
“The goalkeeping department is different that is why they have a special coach assigned for the role”, he added.
