Former Black Satellites striker Adu Tutu Skelley has said his move to the Austrian second division team SV Kapfenburg is a move to salvage the ?deliberate attempts to stall my football career.?

The Ghanaian striker was loaned out till the end of the season to SV Kapfenburg. The deal was completed two weeks ago.

Speaking for the first time since joining the second division team, the 24 year old told GHANAWEB: ?the relationship between Coach Walter Schachner and i was not of the best.?

?He left Ben (Benedict Akwuegbu, the Nigerian international striker) and I to train with the assistant coach without playing matches when we returned from Christmas holidays.? he added. Skelley requested a transfer to keep him in shape before his possible move out of the team Graz AK at the end of the season. Skelley whose contract with Graz AK runs out in the summer explained: ?my contract with AK runs out at the end of the season. If I am played in the first team and I score goals the team knows they will gain nothing when I move out on a free transfer at the end of the season. So if they keep me out of play I will be viewed as out of form.?

Skelley held a meeting with the Graz AK President Rudi Roth who agreed a loan deal with the second division team who are on the verge of qualifying for the first division league. Skelley said ?this move will help me play competitively and keep me in shape.?

His Nigerian team mate also made a similar move on the same day, by agreeing a loan deal with struggling first division team FC Karnten.

Skelley and Akwuegbu scored crucial goals for Graz AK last season to pull it out of the relegation zone and to earn the UEFA Champions League spot. But relationship between the African players and Coach Walter Schachner hit rock bottom after they were left on the bench for most parts of this season.

Meanwhile Skelley has confirmed that he has received offers from a German second division, a Swiss first division team and from first division teams in Austria. The Ghanaian player will prefer a move as a free agent at the end of the season.
