Two Ghanaian young Judokas Dominic Agudo and Timmy Mensah have left the shores of the country to embark on a six month training trip to Manchester.

Dominic Oduro 23, has made himself one of the formidable forces on the local scene whiles the fast emerging Timmy Mensah showed signs of blossoming into one of the greatest martial art athletes of our time.

Their departure is expected to be the beginning of an annual event that will see more Ghanaian Judokas heading to Britain for more of such programs

President of the Ghana Judo Association, Mr Emmanuel Tetteh, charged the departing athletes to hoist high the flag of Ghana and cement the trust reposed on them.

“It will give them loads of exposure and better understanding of the rules and regulations governing the game of Judo.

They have the image of Ghana to defend outside the country and it is our hope that they make mother Ghana proud”, Mr Emmanuel Tetteh told sports crusader exclusively.
