Kwame Baah ( 7/10) -You can’t blame him for both goals he conceded. Was a saviour once again for the team. Produced some great saves on the day. Saved two penalties during the shootout..

Kingsley Fobi ( 5/10)- Very poor when going forward. Defensively he was ok. His crosses were very bad in the second. Missed his penalty during the shootout.

Edward Sarpong ( 5/10)- Average performance by the Esperance de lago defender. Both the two goals his side conceded came from his side. Contributed nothing in the attack. Could have become the hero of the day but fluffed his penalty kick over the bar.

Zakaria Fuseini ( 6/10)- The brightest spot in the Ghana defence. Looked dominant in the air. But failed to organise the back four to prevent the two goals his side conceded.

Habib Mohammed (5 /10) – Another average performance from the Kotoko defender. Unlucky to score an own goal. Got injured in the second half.

Michael Agberpkornu ( 6/10) – Decent performance from the Dreams FC midfielder. Came close to scoring in the first half but fluffed the ball wide. Got t tired and was withdrawn for Abdul Aziz.

Emmanuel Lomotey (6/10)- Had a quite game on the day. Was outrun by the South African midfield. The introduction of Aziz Nurudeen gave him breathing space to come into the game.

Samuel Obeng Gyabaa ( 7/10)- Scored the important equaliser and forced the game to penalty shootout. A decent performance from him. Did well on the left side of the attack.

Kwabena Owusu (6 /10) -Wore his shoes off for the team. His presence infront made the South African defence sat deep. Was denied twice by the goalkeeper in the first half.

Yaw Yeboah (c) (5 /10) – He had a good start to the game and was denied twice by the keeper. Got injured and couldn’t return for the second half.

Evans Mensah ( 8 /10) – Undoubtedly Ghana’s best player. Scored a great goal to make it 1-1, Assisted Ghana’s second goal after a good work on the right side. Was a thorn in the flesh of the South African defence.

Abass Isaah ( 5/10) – Added fresh energy in the team. Showed glimpses of his quality. Improved performance compare to his previous outings.

Emmanuel Cudjoe ( 5/10) -‘Came on for the injured Habib Mohammed. Struggled to find his feat in the game. Was Panicking throughout the game.

Nurudeen Abdul Aziz (5 /10) – Brought on to stabilize the midfield. Didn’t put any foot wrong in the game.
