Vacate Borteyman land - MOYS warns encroachers

The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MOYS), has called on encroachers of the land acquired for the construction of the National Olympic Sports Complex, at Borteyman, in Nungua in the Tema Metropolis to vacate with immediate effect.

A statement signed by Mr. Mahama Ayarigah, Minister of Youth and Sports (MOYS) said the land was secured for public purpose under the State Lands (Nungua Site National Sports Complex) Instrument 1999 (E.I 19) adding that, the precise boundaries have been spelt out in the E.I.

It said the ministry was in the process of developing the land into a sports complex as planned hence the need for all occupants to vacate the land.
