Valencia target Alfred Duncan extends US Sassuolo deal until 2022

Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan has penned a two-year contract extension that will keep him at Mapei Stadium-Città del Tricolore until 2022.

The 25-year-old had been subject of transfer speculations last summer, with Valencia, Inter Milan and AS Roma said to be interested in his services.

The new deal according to renowned Italian tabloid Gazzetta dello Sport puts to rest the transfer reports after becoming a mainstay under coach Roberto De Zerbi.

The former Sampdoria enforcer has formed a strong midfield partnership with captain Francesco Magnanelli in the ongoing campaign.

Duncan has netted 2 goals in 11 appearances in all competitions for the Neroverdi this term.
