Victorien Adebayor has expressed his excitement after being named Inter Allies FC Player of the Month for February following his impressive performances for the club.
Adebayor scored six goals and provided one assist for the Eleven is to One lads against Eleven Wonders, Legon Cities, Berekum Chelsea and Medeama SC in the on-going Ghana Premier League.
He also won two NASCO Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards as he propelled Inter Allies to 11th on the league table with 16 points after 13 matches played thus far.
"It’s a pleasure to win two consecutive awards and I’m excited to be named the club’s player of the month," he said.
"We have had a good month as a team and I hope we continue to do well. Once again I thank my team-mates who work very hard to ensure the team keeps it’s fine form," he added.
?Adebayor was also named the Nasco Player of the Month for February after beating off competition from Benjamin Bernard Boateng (Elmina Sharks), Sulley Ibrahim (Great Olympics), Caleb Amankwah (Aduana Stars) and Salifu Ibrahim (Eleven Wonders).
