Leicester City's Ghanaian defender Daniel Amartey has spoken about his fitness after he played 90 minutes for the Foxes U21s side on Monday night.
Amartey looks set for his English Premier League debut following the suspension absence of the English right-back who received a red card in the Foxes 1-2 loss to Arsenal at the Emirates over the weekend.
Simpson’s absence will hence force Leicester coach Claudio Ranieri to bring in the versatile Ghanaian defender to fill in the right-back position.
Amartey joined the English Club in a reported £5million from Danish giants FC Copenhagen in the January transfer window.
The former Djurgårdens IF defender has already featured for the Leicester City U21’s playing in their League games against Reading and Manchester City.
