Vieira's tactics will favour me - New York City FC star Kwadwo Poku

New York City FC midfielder Kwadwo Poku claims new coach Patrick Vieira will play him in his favourite position.

The 23-year-old, who scored four goals in 23 appearances last season, is set for more game time next year.

“Coach Vieira is a very good coach and very calm as well. From the onset, I could see he wants me to play in the midfield as he tries to adjust his tactics in the team,” Poku told Kumasi-based Angel FM

“He spoke to me about how he feels I can fit well into his system and surely I know he wants to deploy me in the midfield role.”

Poku played for the Black Stars in September when they drew with Canada in an international friendly.
