Hearts of Oak board member Vincent Sowah-Odotei has reassured fans that the club will be competitive in the upcoming season.
The Phobians are looking to bounce back after a challenging previous season, where they narrowly escaped relegation, finishing 14th in the league following a 3-2 victory over Bechem United.
A recent defeat against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in the Democracy Cup has sparked anger and concern among the fans as the new season approaches. However, Sowah-Odotei emphasized that the club is actively working to strengthen the squad.
“We are on track. It’s not a simple, linear process—many factors come into play. But we are managing all those factors to ensure that by the start of the season, we will have a strong squad that can make us competitive,” Sowah-Odotei said on ChannelOne Sports.
