Visiting Bechem Chelsea beat Hasaacas 1-0

Essipong, (W/R) March 21, GNA - Visiting Bechem Chelsea on Sunday beat Sekondi Hasaacas 1-0 in their 23rd Week Premier League match played at the Sekondi Sports Stadium at Essipong.

Issaka Ibrahim scored the only goal of the match for Chelsea in the 50th minute after outclassing the defense of Hasaacas in their goal area. Hasaacas who dominated play in the first half fought back in an effort to break through the tight defense of the visitors who played boldly to consolidate their lead.

The match gathered added momentum from the 70th minute as both sides played tactically to get the upper hand but although Chelsea were in possession of the ball most of the time, they could not increase their goal hunt.

In the dying minutes of the game Chelsea resorted to defensive play with the strikers attacking mainly on the flanks while Hasaacas marshalled forces to keep the visitors at bay without making any serious efforts to draw even before the final whistle. 21 March 10
