Cape Coast, March 15, GNA - Cape Coast Vodafone Ladies whipped Elmin= a Bafana Ladies 5-0 in the Central Region Women's Football League in their match at the Robert Mensah stadium, Cape Coast at the week-end. Vodafone Ladies right from the blast of the referee's whistle took absolute control of proceedings and opened the scoring in the 10th minute=
through Mary Baidoo.
Undaunted by the early lead, Bafana Ladies matched their opponents b= oot to boot but their hopes of drawing level were shattered when Vodafone Lad= ies scored four more goals, through Mary Baidoo, Florence Issifu, Angelina Macaulay and Catherine Arthur to seal the doom of the visitors at the end= of the first half. The second half failed to record any more goals as the Bafana from t= hen defended solidly to keep from conceding further goals.
