Wafa defender Inusah Adams has reiterated their readiness ahead of the opening game of the 2017-18 Ghana Premier League against Asante Kotoko amid confusion on the venue.

The Sogakope-based club have been asked by the premier league board to move the game from the Red Bulls Arena to Cape Coast Sports Stadium for a better television coverage, according to reports.

Although, the decision has been met with protests from the club's leadership and supporters, the centre-back insists the playing body isn't perturbed but remain focused.

"We had a good season last term but I believe we will have another great season when the league kicks off because of how well our pre-season went," Adam told Ahotor FM.

"We've tuned our mind to face every situation and so we aren't perturbed with the player exodus that hit us recently.

"Even in the absence of some of our players who left to join other clubs, we still have the men to beat Asante Kotoko regardless the venue the game will be played. Whether at our favourite home grounds or elsewhere, we will surely not drop points," he added.

Wafa lost their title chase to Aduana Stars last season, finishing second with six points behind the Dormaa Ahenkro-based club.
