WAFA win bronze at Abidjan tourney

WAFA’s U17 settled for bronze at the third edition of the Tournoi international du District d`Abidjan after beating Burkinabe side Royal FC 1-0.

Deadly striker Aminu Mohammed scored the only goal of the match.

The youngsters failed to defend the title they won two years ago after succumbing 1-0 to ASEC Mimosas.

Coach Sadiq Abubakar and his boys are expected home on Monday.
