Wa All Stars has ended their preseason programme, amidst uncertain start of the upcoming 2016 top flight season.

The Upper West based premier league closed down their Kasoa based offseason preparation with a friendly match on Thursday, December 3, 2015.

Jimmy Cobblah’s charges joined premier returnees Ebusua Dwarfs as the latest club to prematurely terminate the hectic muscular endurance programme lineups.

Wa All Stars regrouped for their pre-season programme on November 3, 2015, at Kasoa in preparation for then proposed December kick off.

The one-month long programme was capped with an eight club tournament dubbed as Octagon tourney with the sole aim of fine-tuning their playing staff ahead of the December kick off.

Legal tussles within the realms of Ghana Football Association (GFA) has however thrown the kick off into uncertainty.

Pending cases involving Techiman City FC and a number of division one clubs however squashed away any tentatively fixed date for the commencement of the 2016 season.

This uncertain and unannounced date has forced many clubs to slow down preparation ahead of the new season. Wa All Stars joined the top tier league at the start of the 2007/08 season and has since blossomed into one of the revered clubs in the league.
