Wa All Stars have fired Enos Adepa following a string of poor results which sees the defending Premier League champions now battling against relegation.
Adepa, plucked from obscurity led All Stars to an amazing run on their way to winning the Ghanaian top flight last term.
The side however made a worst possible start to their Premier League title defence and are now just four points above the drop zone with the dozen of matches left to play.
All Stars bundled out of the CAF Champions League at just the first preliminary stage going 5-1 down in the aggregate scoreline against Libyan club Al Ahli Tripoli.
Their form on the domestic is nothing better either, winning just six games in the 20 games played thus far in the Premier League – albeit making it through to the quarter finals of the MTN FA Cup competition.
Adepa is ultimately being held responsible for All Stars’ slump despite the exit of influential duo Richard Arthur and Emmanuel Ocran who have been sold to clubs abroad.
He will be replaced by his deputy Alhaji A.M Sokpari untila substantive is found.
All Stars will be hoping this decision comes good when they travel to face fellow relegation threatened Great Olympics on match day 21 in the Premier League.
