General Manager of Wa All stars Seth Paawuni has set his sights on the money zone of the CAF Champions League next year.
Wa All Stars became the first team from the Northern part of Ghana to win the Premier League ahead of giants Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko after clinching the 2015/16 campaign.
However, many have questioned if the team will be able to stand the might of African football.
“We hope to do well in Africa in our first attempt and we hope to make it into the money zone with the belief that we will be able to cover our loses,” the optimistic Seth Paawuni told YFM Sports.
“If you get kicked out in the first two rounds or first round then it means you have done a wrong investment, so we would want to push into the money zone and we know that our boys are going to be well motivated for the challenge,” he added.
The Ghanaian Champions will begin their quest for continental glory in February next year.
