Sunyani, (Brong Ahafo Region) 15 Oct. Gyaase Stars top the six-club Sunyani District under-17 colts football league which ends on Wednesday, October 22 with 15 points from seven matches. Goldfields also have 15 points but are second because of inferior goals difference and Young Kotoko follow with 14 points. Evans Stars, 1995 national colts Champions are fourth with seven points, Wise Babies, fifth with five points and Frankfurt, last with no point. A spokesman for the Sunyani District Colts Football Association said at Sunyani today that the league champions would join 12 other district winners in a round-robin contest at the Sunyani Coronation Park later this month to select the regional champions for the national colts tournament at Wa, Upper West Region from November nine to 17.
