Wakaso tips Baba Rahman to explode at Schalke 04

Ghana international Mubarak Wakaso has tipped Baba Rahman to rediscover his swagger and sharpness after he sealed a season long loan move from Chelsea to the German side.

Rahman joined Chelsea last season from Augsburg in a 21 million pounds deal but struggled for consistency despite playing in 23 league games in all competitions.

His return to the Bundesliga is viewed by many as the right move as it would give him the opportunity to play more and grow more.

Former Germany international Gerrard Asamoah has lauded the young defender’s decision to join the Royal Blues and Mubarak Wakaso has now also added his voice.

“I am certain that Baba Rahman will do very well in Germany Insha Allah,” Wakaso said

“He has a lot of love for the place and I am very much certain that things will really work out well for him.”

Rahman is expected to make his debut for the club when they play Bologna in a pre-season game on Thursday.
