Las Palmas coach Enrique Setien Solar has assured Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso will be given enough time to settle in well at the club.
The 25-year-old was not part of the Las Palmas squad that secured an impressive point at Valencia in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Wakaso has made just six appearances since his return to La Liga on a season’s-long loan deal from Rubin Kazan in the summer.
Fears are rife the progress of the former Espanyol man would once more again stall with his lack of regular first-team action at Las Palmas.
But coach Enrique Setien Solar says the talented midfielder needs more time to be in sync with the rhythm of his team.
“Understand some things, by his personality and play,” he said.
“But has an extraordinary attitude and he will have the time.”
