Walkers of the VISCO WALKING CLUB have received an assortment of training kits to help boost their training, ahead of upcoming competitions.

Interestingly and to boost morale, the presentation was made by executives of the club, who, stated that they were fully satisfied and impressed with the output of walkers in competitions they have undertaken, throughout the 2004 season.

The cost of the assortment of training kits which consisted of track suits and other wears, have been fixed at 8 million cedis, and it is to further help the walkers and to encourage them to realize how precious they are to the hearts of the executives.

The suits come in a white, wine and blue-black colour form, and have the logo of the club in front, while at the back, traditional sponsors such as ENERGIZER, VOLTIC MINERAL WATER, THE NET CAF? SAVOY HOTEL, PARLAY'S BISCUIT, BIRIWA BEACH HOTEL, and ELEPHANT OINTMENT which have over the years given the sport and the club the financial push, have their corporate names printed at the rear. MINGLE SPORTSWEAR also supplied training vests in addition.

In separate addresses, two of the executive members of the club Ms. Mary Brew and Mr. Peter Amoah asked the walkers to take good care of the kits, since they were required to, at all times, appear neat in them when taking part in competitions.

Among the walkers present were ace walker Vincent Asumang, Ahmed Tijani Sannie, Richard Arthur, Osei Boateng, Benjamin Kojo Annan, Thomas Quaicoe, Eugene Snyper, Robert Nelson Anim, Obiri Yeboah and Alex Agyarkwa.
