The Ghana Athletics Association and the Visco Walking Club will be having the 20k final trials and selection in Cape Coast on 20th April 2004, for the 21st World Walking Cup in Germany on the 1st and 2nd May. Due to this development, the Visco Walking Club wishes to inform its members and those who are interested to take part in the final selection to report at the Visco Walking Club Acadamy near Holy Child School in Cape Coast before the said date (17th April,2004).
Meanwhile the following walkers are being requested to report at the Acadamy grounds immediately.
They are; Vincent Asumang of the Ghana National Service,Ahmed Tjani Sanni of the Ghana Armed Forces(Navy), Stanley Brimah, Benjamin Annan, Ekow Rambo, Francis Adakwah all of Cape Coast.The rest are Richard Arthur, Thomas Quacoo, Moses Shirley from Takoradi, Atta Bright, Robert An! nim,Jeremiah Odamptey from Kumasi. Jeandy Kwofie, Eric Nuamah,Eugene Snyper,Kofi Ali,Abraham Kumi from Accra.
Others include Jaqueline Bludo,Sarah Nyarko and Mary Brew.
