Black Stars players Majeed Waris, Mubarak Wakaso and John Boye are straight off to Washington ahead of Ghana's friendly game against Canada.

The trio are expected to join their Europe-based colleagues players - Albert Adomah, Alfred Duncan, Afriyie Acquah and Razak Brimah - who are currently for Tuesday's international friendly match.

Germany-based Phil Ofosu-Ayeh, who had received his debut call up into the national team has also arrived in the team's base in Washington.

A local contingent which includes Black Stars management committee chairman George Afriyie, assistant coach Maxwell Konadu, goalkeeper Fatau Dauda and other officials have also joined the team on Friday ahead of Tuesday's friendly.

The Black Stars will begin training on Friday evening.

The senior national team has been hit with injuries as captain and vice-captain Asamoah Gyan and Andre Ayew have all been ruled out due to sustained injuries.

Christian Atsu and Rabiu Mohammed have also sat out of the friendly due to injuries.
