Waris opens pre-season goal account in Lorient draw

Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris got on the score-sheet for Lorient in their 3-3 draw with German side Dusseldorf in a pre-season game on Saturday.

The 24-year-old scored in the 54th minute to put the Oranges 2-1 ahead but the tie ended in a stalemate.

Lorient are in Innsbruck preparing for the upcoming French season and Waris has started on a good note.

Waris scored 11 league goals in 21 appearances for Lorient last season.
