Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris says the competitive nature of the French League propelled him to join Ligue 1 outfit Lorient.
The former BK Hacken man has staged a return to the French top-flight having featured for Valenciennes on loan from Spartak Moscow.
The 23-year-old snubbed interest from fellow Ligue 1 side Rennes to sign a five-year deal worth 5million euros for Lorient.
The former Trabzonspor attacker in an interview with Starr Fm says the organized nature of the League attracted him to make a return.
“The French League is very organize, Competitive and good and life there is also good as well.”
The Ghanaian international could make his debut in a League fixture against Lyon on Sunday.
