Warriors To Beat Ghana 5-0 -ZimDaily

As revelations filter that the twice beaten Warriors of Zimbabwe are still in contention, the big question is, can Zimbabwe beat the fiery Black Stars of Ghana by a goal margin of five goal to nil (5-0).

Zimbabwe gave a good account of themselves in the past two matches only to be betrayed by the technical know how. If the Warriors are to beat Ghana by the five-goal margin then they will also have to pray for providence to take its course for Senegal Lions of Teranga to fall in the hands of Nigeria.

Soccer supporters are however pessimistic of the Warriors? chances. They contest that history will repeat itself with the technical department being the team?s greatest undoing.

? I do not see Zimbabwe winning with Mhlauri and his unknown expatriate assistant De Boer on the bench, they have proved to be opportunists?, said Sonakhele Mbedzi of Harare.

Soccer pundits blamed ZIFA for failing to nurture and expose young players from a tender age. They blame ZIFA mandarin for embezzling a FIFA monthly development fund. ZIFA is receiving funding from FIFA under the goal project, specifically for the development of soccer from the grassroots but surprisingly without any junior policy underway.

Meanwhile, Warriors gunman Shingi Kawondera is enjoying rave coverage in Ghana as a player who can spoil the party for the Black Stars. The Mirror of Ghana was quoted as saying that dread-locked man of the match against Nigeria can content as man of the tournament. Kawondera fought a lone battle in strike force with twin striker Mwaruwari showing signs of hesitation.
