The Black Stars concluded their preparations for the game against the Central African Republic on Sunday, June 9, 2024, with coach Otto Addo leading the final training session.

The players engaged in various training drills, with goalkeepers' coach Fatau Dauda guiding the three goalkeepers.

The win against Mali has significantly boosted morale in the camp, with expectations high that the Black Stars will secure their second win in as many matches today, June 10, 2024.

Ahead of the game, coach Otto Addo addressed the press and called on the residents of Kumasi to come out in large numbers and support the team.

"I was truly overwhelmed by the support we received the last time we played here. It exceeded my expectations," Addo said during a pre-match conference on Sunday.

"Support should be unwavering, regardless of the outcome, and Kumasi has consistently shown this loyalty. Even in challenging times, I have no doubt that our fans will stand by us," he added.

Otto Addo also confirmed the team's readiness, noting that the Black Stars are determined to secure a victory against the Central African Republic.

"We had a few injuries, but it seems that everyone will fully participate in training today, and I'm optimistic that all players will be fit for tomorrow," remarked the former Borussia Dortmund coach.

Ghana is currently third in Group I with six points. A win against the Central African Republic and favourable results in the other group matches could propel Ghana to the top spot.
