Ghana striker John Antwi found the net three times on match day 33 of the Egyptian top tier as he aided Makkasa SC to a 4 – 1 victory over Nasr Ta’deem.
With a game more to end the season, Makassa are bound to finish second on the league having already amassed 71 points while Zamalek remained locked on the third spot with 63 points.
Makkasa have already secured qualification for next season’s CAF Champions League, a historic first for the Fayoum based club.
Meanwhile Antwi has now scored in six times in his last five appearances, taking his tally for the 2016/17 season to 13 goals in 17 appearances.
