Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus returned to Nima, a suburb of Accra where he grew up, to fraternize with his childhood friends.

The West Ham United player took time off to play a game with his friends on the dusty Bakin Park, a rugged terrain where years ago they enjoyed playing the game on a leisure basis.

In a video shared on X by Ibrahim Sannie Daara, Kudus is sighted arriving at the venue with a sizeable crowd behind him.

He goes on to change into his training gear and joining the action.

Daara captioned the 24-second video: "Mohammed Kudus returns to Nima to train and fraternise with his childhood friends on the rugged pitch called "Bakin Park" where he started playing football as a kid.

"The crowd's adulation shows how Kudus is adored by the people of Nima," the post added.

Kudus and his Black Stars teammates broke camp after two World Cup qualifying games. A win in Mali and victory earlier this week at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium against Central African Republic.

He is now on holidays after a good first season with West Ham United.
