Young Apostles striker Samuel Prempeh's incredible bicycle kick goal against Hearts of Oak has been labelled as Puskás-worthy, with some Ghanaians believing the goal should be nominated for the award.
Prempeh's sensational goal was the consolation in the Apostles' 2-1 defeat to Hearts of Oak on matchday 6 of the Ghana Premier League.
Prempeh levelled the score with an astonishing bicycle kick from the edge of the box, beating goalkeeper Benjamin Asare, who was off his line.
His goal has flashes of former Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale's bicycle kick goal against Liverpool in the 2018 UEFA Champions League final.
The goal has been trending on social media, especially on X, where many football enthusiasts have lauded the striker's ability to score such an incredible goal.
If nominated, Samuel Prempeh will become the fifth Ghanaian player to be nominated for the award, joining Michael Essien, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, Kevin-Prince Boateng, and Sandra Owusu-Ansah.
