As part of his holidays in Ghana, a Dutch player of Ghanaian descent, Memphis Depay, has visited the Nima Polyclinic in Accra.
In a video going viral on social media, Memphis Depay was seen inspecting some work done at the facility.
According to reports, Depay received a request from the Nima Polyclinic, seeking help to construct a security post, gate, and borehole.
Depay, as per the reports, responded by releasing funds for the project and followed up to inspect the work after arriving in Ghana for the Christmas festivities.
The Brazil-based footballer engaged in some activities while in Ghana for the Christmas holidays.
On Saturday, December 15, 2024, Memphis Depay, alongside some friends, held a polo event at the Accra Polo Club.
Prior to that, Depay had been spotted at the Bukom Boxing Arena watching some talented Ghanaian boxers put their talent on display.
He was also seen playing football with some residents of Nima and scored a nice goal during the game.
Depay’s allegiance to Ghana stems from his father, who is Ghanaian. The former Barcelona forward has been undertaking charity events in the country and visits regularly to monitor the progress of the projects.
