Hajduk Split gained a two-man advantage after Rudes were left with nine men, following two red consecutive red cards.
Ahmed tripled the team's lead in the 45th minute by tapping a loose ball into an empty goalpost after the Rudes goalkeeper punched a low shot right in the Ghanaian striker's direction.
He secured his hat-trick in the 58th minute after managing to get the back of the net after a scramble for the ball in the Rudes' 18 yard box.
