Marvin Senaya has agreed to play for the Black Stars
Defender Marvin Senaya has been in the spotlight since Black Stars head coach Otto Addo named him in the squad for the March 2026 international friendly matches.
The right-back, who plays for AJ Auxerre, has been delivering standout performances in Ligue 1, which caught the attention of the technical team and earned him a call-up.

The four new faces in Black Stars squad for Austria and Germany
The 25-year-old also possesses strong attacking skills, often joining the attack to create chances through crosses and passes.
He is expected to strengthen the Black Stars’ defense with his quality and potentially secure a permanent spot ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
There was some controversy surrounding Senaya’s call-up, as the Togolese national team also named him in their squad.
However, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced that the player agreed to represent the Black Stars after extensive discussions.
Senaya will aim to impress in the upcoming international friendlies against Austria and Germany, as the technical team assesses players before naming the final squad for the World Cup in June 2026.
