Retired Ghanaian boxer Bukom Banku walked his son, Ambitious Tilapia, into the ring amidst singing and dancing during his recent fight, which was held on Saturday, August 10, 2024.
The boxing bout, organized by Legacy Rite Sports, an agency owned by Sharaf Mahama, saw the ex-boxer and his son, originally known as Braimah Kamoko and Abubakar Kamoko, thrill spectators with comical entertainment before the bout.
Bukom Banku led the way, with a crowd from Bukom cheering him on as he performed some of his hit songs.
After making their way into the ring, Banku and Tilapia showcased some dance moves, much to the delight of the fans.
Abu Kamoko did not disappoint in the fight, as he knocked down his opponent, Thomas Ayaatoya, in round three to win his amateur bout on the night.
The young boxer, who won bronze at the 2023 African Games, had a dominant performance, not giving his opponent a chance in the three-round bout.
