Ghana are set to face Niger for the 15th time as they lock horns in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
In the previous 14 meetings, Ghana won 11, lost two, and drew one. The two sides' last meeting dates back to 2013 when they met in the 2013 AFCON group stage.
Ghana recorded an emphatic victory in that match, thumping their West African counterparts 3-0.
Asamoah Gyan opened the scoring just 6 minutes into the game before the late Christian Atsu doubled the lead midway through the first half.
John Boye wrapped up the win in the second half to secure what was Ghana's second win in the group.
The Black Stars will be hoping for more of the same as they face Niger at the Stade Municipal de Berkane in Morocco.
