Black Stars midfielder, Mohammed Kudus produced yet another stellar performance as West Ham United defeated Crystal Palace to record their first win of the new campaign.
Kudus' main highlight of the game was when he stunningly glided past five Crystal Palace players after receiving the ball in his own half. He ended the sequence winning a foul high up the pitch to bail out West Ham from their defensive zone.
Kudus was exciting down the left flank, completing six dribbles - the most in the game, completing all his attempted passes, and winning the most duels - 9.
Although Kudus was not on the scoresheet, he was instrumental in the 2-0 win at Selhurst Park on Saturday, August 24, 2024.
Two second-half goals from Tomas Soucek and Jarrod Bowen ensured that the Hammers got back to winning ways after losing their opening game to Aston Villa.
He almost opened the scoring in the first half when he pounced on a loose ball in the box, but his right-footed shot missed the goal by inches.
The former Ajax man has earned his place as a key member under new manager Julien Lopetegui. He played 88 minutes in the game and had a 7.5 rating, according to FotMob.
