Ghana international Mohammed Salisu lasted 90 minutes for AS Monaco on Monday evening when the team hammered FC Barcelona 3-0 in an international friendly match.
The highly-rated defender started for his team in their final friendly match of the pre-season before the start of the 2024/25 French Ligue 1 season next weekend.
Neither side scored in the first half, but the team from France managed to put the Spanish giants to the sword after the recess.
Goals from Lamina Camara, Breel Embolo, and Christian Mawissa handed AS Monaco the emphatic victory at full-time.
Mohammed Salisu, 25, played the full 90 minutes of the friendly and put on a good performance to help his team keep a clean sheet.
He has been impressive in pre-season for AS Monaco and will be in line to start for the team on Saturday when they take on Saint-Étienne in the opening match of the new French Ligue 1 campaign.
